MURAT FERHAT YEGÜL · MUSIC IN COMPANY
An end-blown reed flute with an important place in Turkish classical music and the Mevlevi musical tradition.
The ney’s form is spare; its voice develops through reed, breath, careful making and practice. Its sound asks the player to listen closely to the instrument and to the music around it. Murat will add his own explanations and photographs here.
